Summer School English Courses
Come to England for intensive study, cultural understanding and social fun with new international friends.
After a diagnostic assessment of your English language skill, you will receive an intensive English language course at your level. All our teachers are experienced and hold accredited teaching qualifications.
You will see the most famous sights and you will improve your English Language by learning and practising language learnt in your lessons on your tours. Practice in a real context is a fantastic way to improve!
Southampton
Southampton is an ancient walled city that has many parks and a large and dynamic student life with one of the country's top universities.
It has a famous port that the Titanic sailed from. The most famous cruise ships still sail from here, Queen Mary 2 Freedom of the Seas and more.
There is a beautiful National Park called the New Forest very close by with wild horses and spectacular scenery.
Language Courses
You will receive a high quality language tuition at your level. Your class will be multicultural so you will be speaking only in English. You will be taught language that will be useful on your excursions and you will be able to practice the inputs directly on your excursions.
Classes are usually 12 students maximum and are fun and dynamic. Your level will improve before you know it!
Accommodation
You will be living in self catering accommodation. You will either be sharing or have your own room depending in a good quality house. The rooms are in good condition and have modern bathrooms and kitchens depending on availability.

Tours
You will be taken on tours to a selection of the places below.
Winchester: King Alfred’s medieval capital of England with the Round Table and Winchester Cathedral.
Salisbury: Stonehenge - the magnificent prehistoric stone circle.
Portsmouth: the historic dockyard - nowhere else in the world can you see the most powerful 16th 18th and 19th
century warships preserved.
Also fantastic shopping at Gunwharf Quay and boat trips
around the harbour - view the modern warships of the Royal Navy and Castle with a secret.
London: the London Eye - the biggest Ferris wheel in Europe, Buckingham Palace, the fantastic South Bank
with Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the Tate Modern Art Gallery, St Pauls Cathedral,
Tower Bridges, the Tower of London - a real working medieval castle
and St Catherine’s Dock.
Oxford University: the oldest university in the English-speaking world. The university traces its roots back to at least the end of the 12th century, although the exact date of foundation remains unclear. After a dispute between students and townsfolk broke out in 1209, some of the academics at Oxford fled north-east to the town of Cambridge, where the University of Cambridge was founded. The two universities have since had a long history of competition with each other.
Also many local sights including Bourmemouth’s sandy beaches, the beautiful
New Forest National Park, the Beaulieu river, The Isle of Wight and Cowes Week
- the big summer festival in August.
