On our Standard Junior Programme and on our Junior Programme Plus there will be a range of afternoon activities.

Our Intensive Junior Programme has classes in the afternoons but there are still optional evening activities and Saturday trips away!

Visit to the Historical City of Winchester

Trip to Winchester, the historic city where you can see Winchester Cathedral. You can visit Jane Austen's burial place, visit the Great Hall, see King Arthur's Table and become a medieval king or queen!

Trip to Stonehenge and Salisbury

During the trip to Stonehenge and Salisbury you will be able to visit the famous stones and burial mounds as well as seeing the historic centre of Salisbury and the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral grounds and quadrangle. We will explain the historic significance of this unique site housing one of the most important documents in the world!

Travel to the Sandy Beaches of Bournemouth

There are 25kms of beautiful beaches in Bournemouth and because we have minibus transportation we can go to the best of them, the glorious Sandbanks which is home to some of the UK's most expensive houses. Expect to see golden sands and picturesque sand dunes.

Ferry to Hythe
To visit Hythe we will cross Southampton water, the body of water which connects Southampton to the Solent, by ferry and travel along a vintage electric train - the oldest pier train in the world! You will then be able to explore the picturesque town of Hythe which has fantastic views across Southampton Water where you can often see the huge cruise liners coming into port.


Ferry Trip to the Isle of Wight
Southampton is located near to the Solent, a very busy shipping lane crowded with ships and yachts. The Isle of Wight is just 40 minutes by ferry and during your trip you will see a lot of maritime activity. On arrival you will visit historic Cowes, the capital of this beautiful island and home to international yacht racing.


Ferry Trip to Keyhaven and Hurst Point Castle
With Bfluent's own Minibus we are able to take our students to the beautiful harbour of Keyhaven and then over on the ferry to the sixteenth century Hurst Point Castle created by Henry VIII. It is truly one of the South's hidden gems overlooking the Isle of Wight.

Visit to The New Forest National Park

The New Forest National Park is famous for its wild New Forest ponies and horses. It is a magnificent forest drenched in history which was first recorded in the Domesday Book in 1086. With Bfluent's Minibus transportation we are able to take you to the very best parts of this wonderful national park. You will see the wild life and understand the historical significance of this beautiful English national treasure.

Trip to Netley Abbey & Weston Shore

With our minibus transportation we can take you to the national treasure of Netley Abbey, built by the Cistercian monks in the 13th Century, and explain the historical significance of this beautiful site. You will be able to go to The Quays Swimming & Diving Complex, a world class swimming centre in Southampton. It has an ultra modern swimming pool with slides and jacuzzis - students can really have fun here!

Usually two entrances to top attractions, for example The London Eye and the Thames river boat trip, are included.

London

Spend the whole day exploring and learning about one of the world's greatest cities. You will experience major attractions such as the London Eye and a Thames river boat trip. Alternatives to the boat trip can be the British Museum, The Clink Prison experience, etc. You will learn about the history and culture and will see other famous sights such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, St. James' Park, Piccadilly Circus, Regents Street and you will have time for shopping on the world famous Oxford Street. Maybe you will even see the Queen!

With a huge range of attractions including lovely gardens, architecture, beach and seafront promenade and a historic pier, you will see the Royal Pavilion, the historic pleasure pier and then go shopping in the world famous Lanes Shopping area with its huge range of small and fascinating boutique style shops and antiques areas.

Oxford

This world famous University town has some of the finest architecture in the world and some of the most beautiful English scenery. You will visit a typical Oxford college, take a traditional punt (a typical river boat that you propel with a long stick) trip along the idyllic Cherwell river and explore the city centre with its superb range of shops, restaurants and cafes.

Portsmouth

Portsmouth has a beautiful natural harbour with Napoleonic forts. It is the home to the Royal Navy and perhaps one of the most historically important places on the South Coast. You will see the very best naval technology in the world dating to the 18th and 19th century and have a harbour boat trip to see the delights of the harbour with a guided tour to explain the history. You will visit the HMS Victory, Admiral Nelson's flag ship dating back to the 1700s.
